Our team at Simple Booth loves to support organizations that make a meaningful impact in their communities—and when that opportunity is right in our own backyard, it’s even more special.

Our Nashville-based Marketing Manager, Emilie Crimmins, recently joined forces with Flower Walls of Nashville, who graciously invited us to participate in an event supporting TenThirtyFive. This local nonprofit, founded by Angie Brantley, is dedicated to restoring confidence and dignity to women by providing access to clothing for everyday life, special occasions, and job interviews.

Through their in-person boutique and newly launched mobile clothing truck, TenThirtyFive makes it easy for women across Middle Tennessee to find what they need in a setting that feels supportive and empowering.

Their recent annual fundraiser, Styling Confidence for Tomorrow, brought that mission to life. This heartfelt fashion show blended storytelling, community, and the transformative power of clothing—making it the perfect opportunity for Emilie to support a cause close to home while showcasing Simple Booth HALO®, a modern photo booth solution designed for organizations and events.

“Styling Confidence for Tomorrow perfectly embodies the power of fashion to uplift and empower individuals. We’re proud to be part of this initiative that promotes self-expression and confidence.”

– Angie Brantley, Founder & Executive Director of TenThirtyFive

A Red Carpet Welcome, with Heart

As guests stepped into the venue, they were welcomed by a joyful photo moment: a HALO photo booth paired with a stunning floral backdrop by Flower Walls of Nashville. Positioned at the entrance, the setup encouraged guests to strike a pose as soon as they arrived—and again on their way out, smiles (and raffle prizes) in hand.

But the experience was more than just stylish—it was thoughtful:

  • It included a custom-branded start screen and event-themed overlay aligned beautifully with TenThirtyFive’s identity.
  • Guests had the option to opt in or out of public sharing, offering privacy for attendees who were underage or in the foster care system.
  • Photos could be delivered instantly via text, QR code, or AirDrop, making the experience seamless for everyone.

Emilie served as a photo booth attendant, answering questions and encouraging guests to show off their looks. And with a neon sign that read “You Are Amazing”, the backdrop wasn’t just decorative—it echoed the very spirit of the day.

Fashion with a Mission

As the show began, the spotlight turned to the real stars of the day: women closely connected to the program and those whose lives have been touched by TenThirtyFive’s mission. With confidence and pride, they walked the runway in outfits that demonstrated how clothing can offer so much more than style—it can represent a fresh start.

A model in elegant evening wear at the Styling Confidence for Tomorrow fashion show, captured mid-stride on the catwalk by photographer Jessica McIntosh.

Between walks down the runway, attendees shared heartfelt stories celebrating bold fashion choices from the past (no shame here!), reflecting on their journeys toward confidence, and honoring the power of showing up for each other during tough times. It was inspiring, vulnerable, and deeply moving.

“Recipients, women in the community, and even staff members walk the runway—showcasing the beautiful outfits thousands of women and youth receive through our program thanks to the generous donations from this community.”

– Angie Brantley, Founder & Executive Director of TenThirtyFive

Special guests—including Mrs. Nashville, Mrs. Tennessee, and Miss Music City—lent their voices to the cause, while guests mingled over brunch, gathered at tables surrounding the catwalk, and browsed a silent auction filled with local favorites, from spa packages to Cheekwood Estate & Gardens passes.

Event Highlights at a Glance

Once the event wrapped up, we dove into the numbers to measure engagement:

  • 204 Participants
  • 64 Total Photos Captured
  • 244 Gallery Views

These stats represent more than just numbers—they’re snapshots of joy, connection, and empowerment, captured and shared in real time.

Sharing the Energy Beyond the Room

While the fashion and stories stole the show, Simple Booth HALO played a small but meaningful role in extending the impact. With professional lighting, customizable branding, and built-in sharing tools, HALO made it easy to capture the energy of the moment and amplify it across social media—helping the event’s mission reach far beyond the room.

“This day is our biggest fundraising event of the year and it goes by so quickly. So to have Simple Booth be a part and help us capture these moments was priceless to us!”

– Angie Brantley, Founder & Executive Director of TenThirtyFive

With just a few taps, attendees could send their photos to themselves and post to social media—spreading TenThirtyFive’s message to friends and followers well beyond the event. It was a light-touch way to increase awareness and keep the conversation going.

Photo Booth Ideas for Nonprofit Events

While Styling Confidence for Tomorrow centered on fashion and fundraising, it’s just one example of how a nonprofit photo booth can enhance your event and expand your mission’s reach.

From fundraising galas to community outreach, HALO helps nonprofits increase event engagement, generate shareable content, and tell their story in a fun, authentic way. Here are just a few of the ways organizations are using HALO:

  • Fundraising events like auctions, galas, and benefit dinners
  • Volunteer appreciation nights to recognize and celebrate service
  • Donation drives for school supplies, winter coats, or hygiene kits
  • Community festivals and family days that bring people together
  • Awareness campaigns for causes like mental health, education, or equity
  • Workshops and leadership retreats that foster connection
  • Youth programs and mentorship events to build confidence and inclusion

Take the Junior League of Austin, for example. They’ve used HALO across dozens of events to boost visibility, encourage social sharing, and spark meaningful conversations—all while simplifying their nonprofit event marketing efforts.

A Meaningful Way to Make an Impact

From heartfelt stories to high-energy photo ops, Styling Confidence for Tomorrow was a powerful reminder that empowering women creates a ripple effect—one that extends from the runway to the broader community. The event beautifully reflected TenThirtyFive’s mission to restore dignity, boost confidence, and create space for women to thrive.

We were honored to support this inspiring day alongside Flower Walls of Nashville and local photographer Jessica McIntosh, who beautifully captured the magic and meaningful purpose of the event.

For nonprofits planning a range of events, a modern photo experience like HALO helps guests feel connected, gives them something to share, and organically spreads your mission—long after the event ends. With built-in features for branding, privacy, and shareability, it’s a thoughtful way to combine impact and engagement without adding complexity to your team’s workflow.
